Workout Wednesday: Straight Leg Lowers

Workout Wednesday: Straight Leg Lowers

If you are looking for a way to really target your core (especially your lower abs), this exercise is great! Plus it’s fun to do (and your baby can even help you!).

To get started, sit down on the floor with your baby seated on your lap, facing away from you. While balancing on your tailbone, raise your legs off the floor into a V-sit position. While keeping your upper body still and heels together, slowly lower your legs towards the floor (but don’t let your feet touch the floor). Now, slowly raise your legs back up to a V-sit position. Repeat 10-15 times.
