3 Ingredient Yogurt Chocolate Mousse Dip

November 28, 2017 by Erin Palinski-Wade

I have partnered with Dannon to promote Light & Fit. I have been compensated for my time, however all opinions are entirely my own.

I can’t believe the holiday season is already in full swing. I feel like I was just swimming in the pool yesterday. Time really does fly. In the next two weeks, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving and right after that, my baby is turning one! Where did the time go? With all of this party planning, I was getting a bit stressed about planning the holiday menu. So when I was invited to take part in the Dannon Blogger Challenge to reimagine yogurt in a holiday recipe using Light & Fit Regular Nonfat Yogurt with Zero Artificial Sweeteners, I couldn’t have been more excited. This was the perfect opportunity for me to experiment with new dishes to entertain my company this holiday season.

If you have not cooked with yogurt, I can’t recommend it enough. It is one of my kitchen staples for a good reason- it’s such an incredibly versatile ingredient. My go-to yogurt for creating recipes is Light & Fit Regular Nonfat Yogurt with Zero Artificial Sweeteners. It contains 80 calories with 5 grams of protein per 5.3 ounce serving with zero artificial sweeteners, so I can feel good about choosing it. Being a nutrient-dense dairy food, many yogurts are a good source of protein, calcium, and vitamin D. So adding yogurt into a recipe can help to amp up the nutrient profile of the end product. It really is one of the easiest ingredients to work with and can fit in nicely to almost any holiday dish.

For this challenge, I decided to satisfy my sweet tooth by creating a Yogurt Chocolate Mousse Dip that can make an amazing holiday appetizer or dessert. Not only is it delicious and good for you, but it contains only three ingredients and can be made in less than two minutes. It really doesn’t get any easier (or tastier) than that!
