The Easiest No Sugar Added Popsicles with Plum Juice

No sugar added popsicles with plum juice with ice cubes and berries

My family loves popsicles. Loves them! But what I don’t love is the large amount of added sugar and lack of beneficial nutrients like fiber that you find in most store-bought brands. So I decided to create my own easy recipe that tastes just as good (or in my opinion better!), can be made in minutes, and contains no added sugar. And thanks to the addition of plum juice & prune juice, these popsicles provide a boost of gut-friendly fiber as well. And with just three ingredients, it really doesn’t get simpler to make!

This post was made in partnership with Sunsweet Growers. As always, all opinions are my own.

If you are looking for a refreshing snack to cool down with as the weather heats up, these no sugar added popsicles are just what you need. And with each popsicle containing a boost of protein and fiber, these cool treats are a nutritious snack you can feel great about serving your family every day.

FAQs

Can you make popsicles without molds?

Yes! Although I love using silicon popsicle molds, don’t let not having a mold hold you back. You can create popsicles using an ice cube tray, a small baking tin, or even upside down plastic or paper cups!

How do you unmold popsicles?

To prevent your popsicle from breaking when removing from the mold, run the sides of mold under warm (not hot) water for about 20 seconds to make removal easier. You can also allow the popsicles to sit in the mold at room temperature until they can be easily removed. But watch them carefully to prevent them from melting!

Can you substitute ingredients?

Absolutely! You can get creative experimenting with a variety of fruits to change up the flavors!

Are no sugar added popsicles nutritious?

Yes! These popsicles are a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without added sugar. Plus the additional nutrients, fiber, and protein in the popsicles can provide a filling snack that won’t spike blood sugar.
