For a delicious low carb and energizing treat, whip up a frozen matcha latte. With only 3 grams of carbs, this is the perfect diabetes-friendly drink!

Ingredients

  • tbsp matcha powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp stevia (or your favorite sweetener)
  • ice cubes
  • 1 cup sugar free almond milk
  • enough cubed ice to fill 2 glasses

Instructions

  • Combine matcha powder, water, and stevia in a blender and pulse until fully dissolved.
  • Add the ice and pulse until the ice crushes.
  • Transfer to 2 tall glasses, and fill them with almond milk (you can add more or less to your taste).
  • Top with a bit more matcha and enjoy.

Notes

If you have leftovers, freeze them into ice cubes. The next time you make this recipe, use your matcha ice cubes for maximum flavor!
