Ingredients

  • ½ avocado
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • ½ cucumber
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 3-4 broccoli florets
  • lemon juice
  • mint leaves

Instructions

  • Place avocado, spinach, cucumber, almond milk, lemon juice, broccoli and mint leaves.
  • Pulse until well processed.
  • Serve with mint.

Notes

Storing: The lemon juice will help preserve the smoothie and keep it from browning. Green smoothies are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Be sure to thoroughly mix it before drinking. 
Freezing: Pour the smoothie into either an ice cube tray or a shallow container, and freeze for up to 6 months. When ready to drink, place the frozen cubes into a blender and blend until smooth.
